Hudson Soft's North American publishing department, Hudson Entertainment, announced today that they are planning a new release of the arcade fighting game, Fatal Fury. The version, titled Fatal Fury Mobile, will be designed for cellphones, and will be based on Fatal Fury 2. The title should launch in the North American market on both the Java and Brew platforms during fall 2006.

“It is our distinct pleasure to bring this much loved SNK fighting game to cellphones” said John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment. “It is quite impressive how all the action-packed essence of the classic title fits on a small device. It serves as a great compliment to our library of games.”
