Infinity Ward has addressed and fixed the multiplayer issues that plagued Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 users earlier this month who experienced server issues and numerous error messages online while playing Call of Duty 4.
According to Eurogamer, the community relations manager has issued this comment:
"You should no longer be receiving this error message or any other issues related to the firmware update in this game. Thank you to everyone for giving us the heads up on this so we could start tracking down answers, and getting it resolved and please let us know if you have any additional issues."
Additionally, the company has announced plans on the official forums to release a Playstation 3 patch and an Xbox 360 update for the game in the near future. Those who wish to visit the Infinity Ward forums can do so here.
